Former Aramco Protestant Fellowship pastor Charles Alan Tichenor, 91, passed away peacefully in Bishop, California on April 27, where he had been a resident for three years. He served as Aramco's first full-time Protestant pastor from 1952-1957. Dhahran was the family’s base in Arabia until 1957, when he returned to Davenport, Iowa to pastor a Presbyterian Church there.

Edwin Andrew Duff, grandson of the late Edwin Bernard Conger and Jane Conger Deits, was born January 23, 2008 to Gretchen Conger Duff and her husband Brian in Monroe, Louisiana. His mother Gretchen graduated from Ras Tanura Junior High in 1991.

Richard Crawford, 57, Washington DC dentist and world traveler, died unexpectedly on April 23. "Rick" was born in New York City and in 1960, his family moved to Dhahran for his father's work with Aramco. He graduated from the Perkiomen School in Pennsylvania followed by Northwestern and Northwestern Dental School. He later returned to Dhahran as a dentist at the Aramco Facility in Dhahran.
