Sabina Mehta, an "Aramco-Brat" who left Dhahran in 1993, wed Joseph Nagle, September 3, 2006 at The Hudson Gardens in Littleton Colorado.
The Bride (Sabina Mehta) and Groom (Joseph Nagle) were married on a beautiful, sunny day in The Hudson botanical Gardens on September 3rd, 2006. The colorful ceremony was a blend of both East Indian and American traditions. A cocktail hour and dinner reception with a hearty Indian feast followed the ceremony.
The wedding was hosted by the bride's parents, Ed and Neely Mehta, who lived in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The Bride's brother, Neil Mehta, was also in attendance as a groomsman. Other Aramco members of the bridal party included bridesmaids: Melissa Wilson, Katie Evans, Agatta Mueller, and Jumanah Khader. Aramco guests in attendance included: Matt Morgan, Tom and Rita Steinenger, Seema Pandya, Sharifa Rastegar (Ives), Emery Mueller, and Alisha Dokshukin (Van Slooten).
The couple met in Minneapolis, MN 5 years ago when Sabina was about to start graduate school. During their first conversation they realized they had something very significant in common: their love of Colorado, the mountains, and the outdoors. Both had lived in Colorado at different points in their lives and dreamt of moving back again someday. Six years later, their dream came true and now Sabina and Joseph live in Cherry Creek, Denver. Sabina’s parents, Ed and Neely Mehta, also live close by in Castle Rock, Colorado.
Sabina is an Audiologist and works in a medical center for Kaiser Permanente in Denver. She graduated in 2000 from Colorado College with a BA in Psychology and obtained a Masters degree in Audiology from the University of Minnesota in 2004. She is currently working on her clinical doctorate in Audiology.
Joseph is a Foreign Exchange Specialist for Wells Fargo and Company in Denver. He graduated with a BS in Economics from the University of Minnesota and obtained his MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
The couple enjoys spending time with friends and family and being active year round in the Colorado sunshine with running, biking, hiking, and skiing.
