Lars Finanger and Emily Deppe, together with their parents, are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Lars is the son of Mark and Lois Finanger of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Lars is a 1995 graduate of the Ras Tanura School where he was active in swimming, baseball, and numerous ARAMCO school activities. He was a 1998 graduate of Decorah High School, Decorah, Iowa and a 2002 graduate of St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota, earning a degree in History. Lars is currently employed as an Advertising Accounts Executive with Inside Communications Inc. in Boulder, Colorado.
Emily is the daughter of Bill and June Deppe of The Woodlands, Texas. Her father recently retired from Exxon. Emily is a 1997 graduate of The Peddie School in Hightstown, N.J. and a 2002 graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Psychology. She earned a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005 from the University of Minnesota. She is employed as a Physical Therapist with Health South in North Glenn, Colorado.
Emily and Lars will be married October 22 in Kona, Hawaii. The wedding will follow their participation in the 2006 Ironman Hawaii World Triathlon Championship, held the previous day in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. The couple will reside in Boulder, Colorado.
