Nicholas Edward Ksiazek Graduates from the United States Naval Academy

Midshipman 1st Class Nicholas Edward Ksiazek graduated from the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland on May 25, 2007 with a degree in Political Science.  Nicholas is the son of Richard and Linda Ksiazek.

The USNA 2007 Commissioning Week began on Saturday, May 19 with the traditional Ring Dance with many activities and festivities planned throughout the week including the Catholic Baccalaureate Mass, the Superintendent's Garden Party, United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon Performance, Class of 2007 Family Picnic, Blue Angels Flight Demonstration, Graduation Ball, Color Parades culminating with Graduation Ceremony in the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

The Graduation Ceremony began with a fly-over by the Blue Angels.  The Graduation Address was given by the Honorable Robert M. Gates, Secretary of Defense.  Nicholas was administered the oath of office and commissioned into the United States Marine Corps as a Second Lt. by General Robert Magnus, U.S Marine Corps, who is the Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps.  The Ceremony concluded with the famous Hat Toss and Cannon Salute.

Joining Nicholas in the Graduation festivities in Annapolis, Maryland were parents Richard and Linda Ksiazek, and sisters Whitney, Hayleigh, and brother Jacob Ksiazek.

Nicholas, a 2000 Dhahran graduate, will be reporting for duty and TBS training in Quantico, Virginia in early July after visiting family and friends in Tucson, Arizona; Boulder, Colorado; Las Vegas, Nevada and Fullerton.
