Darren Lindsey Long, son of Lloyd and Sharon Long, graduated from the Ojai Valley School in Ojai, CA on June 5, 2007.

Darren was born and raised in Dhahran and graduated from the 3rd Street School with the class of 2004.

Darren will attend Washington State University in Pullman, Washington in the Fall to study Mechanical Engineering. He has a summer job on a fire crew with the Wenatchee National Forest in Leavenworth, Washington.

Lloyd and Sharon Long arrived in Dhahran in 1982 and retired to Wenatchee, Washington in 2006.

Sister Lexine Long was also born in Dhahran and graduated from the Dhahran 9th Grade in 2001. She graduated from the Santa Catalina School in Monterey California in 2004 and will be starting her senior year at the University of Washington this fall in Seattle, Washington.

Lexine is getting a BS in Environmental Science and a BA in Urban Planning. This summer Lexine will be working in the Olympic National Park doing environmental restoration work and will also be on the park search and rescue team.
