Drilling Foreman, Del Mac Ward, Passed Away

Del Mac Ward, 48, a drilling foreman for Saudia Aramco in Saudi Arabia, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, at College Station Medical Center.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Christ United Methodist Church, 4203 State Highway 6 South in College Station.

Del Mac was born in Fort Stockton June 25, 1957, to James and Loyce Ward. He graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1975.

He married Cherl Freeman June 30, 1977, at the First Christian Church in Fort Stockton.

He is survived by his wife, Cherl Ward of College Station; a daughter and son-in-law, Kym and Leonard Ledford of Hutto; son, Jay Mac Ward of Lubbock; parents, James and Loyce Ward of Granite Schoals, formerly of Fort Stockton; and sister, Cindy Ward of San Marcos.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
