This holiday season, rediscover and reconnect with your Aramco friends.  Tell your Aramco ExPats friends how you and your family are doing.

Audrey and Scott Stanaland from Loudon, Tennessee share a Stanaland family update:

Scott and I are well settled in our home by Tellico Lake in the Tennessee Valley where we have lake and mountain views from our windows and wrap-around porches. We also see the 17th green of Tanasi Golf Course across a lake cove and beyond our backyard is the16th green and views of the fairway stretching North. Ahhh. Not a bad life, thanks to Aramco!

I (Audrey) enjoy a little herb and flower gardening, and I am deeply involved in internet genealogy research, discovering cousins all over the globe. The genealogy also helps me keep my writing skills sharp. Scott, who long resisted having a PC on his desk at work, loves his computer and his office with views. Of course he golfs and he has discovered his creative side in his wood working shop. We have traveled quite a bit the past several years, and of course, our sons and new grandchild lure us frequently to New Jersey.

David Stanaland and wife Kristl Alt and their daughter Sarah Melitta live in Clark, New Jersey where Kristl is a pharmaceutical representative and David has his own business, which includes iProInvoice and Erentail Solutions. Sarah, born May 27, 2004, is our first grandchild. Our youngest son Eric Stanaland, Dhahran Class of 1986, left Austin, Texas in 2000 and lives in North Brunswick, New Jersey. He commutes to work in New York City, where he is a manager in computer support at Tokio Marine.

Please let me know if anyone knows how to contact a former Dhahran School student, Struan Orr, who graduated 9th grade in 1982. He was a good friend of our son, David Stanaland, but David has lost contact with him. I think Struan's dad was Campbell Orr, and I believe their home in the states was in the Northeast.

We will miss the 2006 Aramco Reunion in Missouri as we have other plans. We have many good memories of our friends and our 20+ years in Dhahran and we will enjoy hearing from all old friends who remember us!
