Mazen Snobar, President and CEO of Aramco Services Company, Houston, welcomed Washington, D.C.-area Aramco Annuitants, Aramco Brats, former employees, current employees, and their guests to a special evening on Thursday, October 7, to honor Aramcons. Snobar told this special group, “All our corporate management appreciates what you’ve done to make Saudi Aramco the company it is today.”

The 175 Aramcons – primarily from Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia – spent the evening visiting, networking, and renewing old acquaintances from their Aramco days, while they enjoyed a buffet dinner at the hilltop penthouse reception room, Top of the Town, in Arlington, Virginia. It was a clear night and most guests also stepped out to take in unparalleled Washington skyline views from the adjacent open terrace.

David Bosch, Director of the Aramco Services Company Washington Office, noted in his welcoming remarks that when the Washington Office staff began planning the event, the anticipated guest count was 30 to 40 people. Little did anyone know that there would be such interest – “this is a real demonstration of the strength of the old ties.”
