Ali Baluchi Ali Baluchi

A huge thank-you goes out to Ali Baluchi, the Organizing Committee, and the many 2009 KSA Reunion volunteers who did a wonderful job of planning this amazing experience for Aramco Annuitants, former Aramcons, and Aramco Brats.

Aramco ExPats is especially grateful for all the hard work that went in to preparing this event, as are the many attendees that enjoyed the privilege of re-visiting their home in Saudi Arabia and sharing the experience with family members.

Over 500 people attended this reunion. Coordinating meals, tours, shopping excursions, and other visits throughout the Kingdom was huge undertaking by the Reunion Committee. It was achieved to great success in a cooperative effort with many Saudi Aramco departments, including Public Relations, Transportation, Government Affairs, Security, and Community Services.

Ali was also the chairman influential in organizing the first expatriate KSA Reunion in 2000. He has attended the biennial Annuitant Reunions for the past 30 years in the United States and we hope to see him at the 2010 Reunion next year.

Thank you to everyone who helped plan the 2009 KSA Reunion, especially:

What a great organized event with wonderful flexibility for seeing friends, more of Arabia, and experiencing terrific hospitality. Another life adventure! Thank you Aramco and all volunteers.

I did not go unfortunately. I wish I did but it was not the time for me to go. The most satisfying time is to see your friends whom you worked with, your home where you lived and your work place. Many thanks to Ali Baluchi, without him there will be no reunion in Saudi Arabia. I hope that next reunion I will be there Insha allah Soliman moussa

I must thank all the Committee for the "first class" event and treatment. The Reunion events and detailed planning far exceeded my expectations.

Ali, Mike and Judy Butler appreciate your hosting the 2009 KSA Reunion.  You and your committee did a terrific job as we loved every minute.  Thank you, Aramco, and your committee for allowing us to return to our Arabian home.  Sure hope we can do it again in 3-5 years!!!  The Butlers

This truly was a homecoming in every sense:  Being with "family," eating favorite foods, doing familiar things and sharing new experiences.  Just as our previous 23 years in Arabia came at a perfect time in our lives, so too did this reunion. We truly felt blessed for both the past and the present.  Each one of us, even with our 64 years age span, had a wonderful time.  Thank you all!  The Barr-Barris-Harris Tribe

A million thanks for the splendid hosting, flawless organization, and great outings!!!!  The camp looks so green! The improved communications were impressive. Congratulations to the young Saudis who are succeeding in the jobs we left behind as well as new ones. I enjoyed visiting with friends who are still in Saudi as well as with the returning guests.  Great job.  There wasn't enough time to "do everything". When can we come back?
