The eight surviving Aramcon very old “Old Timers” held their annual get-together in San Francisco on Sunday, May 7th at the Spanish restaurant that has replaced the Women’s Athletic Club in Oakland, for the third year running.
No group photo was taken this year, but Sandy prepared a montage of the snaps of individuals taken later that afternoon at the Flittie residence in the St Francis Wood district.
As usual, talk of old times was the principal topic, but children, grandchildren and current events were all part of the non-stop gabfest.
Norah Harriss was a guest of the Flitties, for she came all the way from Eugene, Oregon. The other surviving Old Timer, George Blakslee, sent his regrets from Wisconsin.
Small gifts were exchanged when it was time to leave, all agreed that we would do it again next year.
