2004 Graduating Class Beach Day - Dhahran Middle School

As in years past, the anticipation of the annual Beach Day for graduating ninth graders at the Dhahran Middle School was high by the time June 5th rolled around.
By 7:30 that morning the buses were loaded with not only students and teachers but enough food to feed the appetite of the 142 graduates. Throughout the day impromptu games of tug-a-war, volleyball, soccer and water balloon fights filled the beach of the Dhahran Yacht Club.
As noon time got closer the aroma of charcoal broiled burgers and hot dogs filled the air. Teachers franticly flipped burgers trying to keep up, while students continually filled their plate.
Soon after the lunch time food frenzy ended, students gathered for the class photo on the sand dunes overlooking Half Moon Bay. As in years pass, each student will come to prize the photograph that symbolizes their fond memories of the many friends and events that filled their life with Aramco.
