Amy Lamb - Awaiting Heart Transplant

Author: Daren Lamb
Released 19 November 2003

Lamb

I promised that I would update you on our great niece, nine year old Amy Lamb's health, but as of this date, there is nothing new to report.

She continues to have medical checkups, and although she shows no improvement, the bright side is that she also is no worse. She is still being home schooled by closed circuit television, and has taken an interest in counted cross stitching with her Grandma Carole Lamb.

She reads every card and letter that comes in before putting it in a scrapbook. She looks forward to these, and continues to get them from around the world. She is frail, and has not regained the weight she has lost in the ordeal. But, her morale is good, and since the family is living a semi-normal life now, all are doing better.

Will you please send Amy a cute or funny get well card? And, if you have friends who would send one, pass this along to them. The card marathon from around the world is continuing to keep Amy occupied during this time of waiting.

Amy's Church continues to receive her mail and deliver it to her. Please send your cards to the following address:

The First Presbyterian Church
AMY LAMB
15 West Church Street
Kissimmee, FL 34741

Amy's mother, Ginny, and her Dad, Aramco Brat, Jeff, have asked that I thank all of you for your cards and messages.
