UK Aramcons Reunion 2008

As 2008 is Saudi Aramco’s 75th Anniversary, it will be a much bigger event with the reunion starting on the Thursday carrying through until Sunday when we say our good-byes.

The format for the event will be similar to the last time. We'll begin on Thursday afternoon for a Meet ‘n Greet, then out for dinner at a local restaurant in the evening. Of course this is not compulsory.

On Friday morning after breakfast a golf tournament will be held, (no venue booked at present). Those who do not wish to play golf have many other things to do, like shopping in Maidenhead or Windsor, swimming in the Hotel's pool or visiting several nearby sights, such as:

Eton College
Windsor Castle
Ascot or Windsor Racecourses

The evening still to be planned, perhaps go out on the Friday evening for dinner at a local restaurant instead of the Thursday evening!!

On Saturday everyone is free to explore the area returning in time for the main reception of the reunion. Starting with welcoming drinks on the Patio at 6:00pm (weather permitting), with a hot buffet Dinner to follow. Depending on the response it might also be possible to arrange a disco for the evening.

For those who travelled from Scotland, Ireland, Wales and North of England last year, please be patient. I am trying to get info for the 3rd. Reunion which will be held in 2010 and I’m looking at Edinburgh, Scotland as the next venue, with Ireland in 2012, Wales 2014 and North England in 2016. Each area will be visited before it returns to the Midlands.

The dates for next year, 21st. – 24th. August, 2008, like this year it is a Bank Holiday weekend.

Hotel Rates - Single Room, Bed & Breakfast at £55.00 per night,
