Hotel Monaco - 501 Geary Street
Serrano Hotel - 405 Taylor Street
Rooms at the Hotel Monaco have sold out. To obtain a room at the nearby Serrano Hotel for $129 per night (plus tax, etc.), call (415) 351-7660 or 800 KIMPTON and ask for the GEEZER REUNION block. They are holding 15 rooms (30 nights) for us. I strongly encourage you to reserve as soon as you can. As of this writing, there are 8 rooms left.
There are a total of 45 geezers (not including husbands, wives, partners or guests) who have either said they were definitely coming or were going to try to come. Some of these are local and will not be staying at a hotel - others are staying with family or friends. And there are a few whose plans I have not heard.
I would be grateful if any of you who have said they wanted to come or would try to come, would let me know as soon as your plans are definite - if any plans can be definite these days. I need to arrange for the appropriate sized reception room at the Monaco and banquet room in Chinatown. Based on response so far, there could well be 80+ of us.
