Egyptian Mau Cats are the oldest known descendents of the domestic cat, existing since Pharonic times, and they are the only naturally occurring small spotted cat in the world.
PAWS is hoping to find someone heading from the Gulf to Texas this spring that would be willing to take 1 cat as escorted baggage along the way. If you are making the trip before mid-May, the cat can travel either in cabin or as cargo. After mid-May until early June, the cat must be taken on as hand luggage, due to the heat embargo in Texas at that time.
The Egyptian Mau (spotted) cat has been adopted, but it needs a travel escort to its new home in Texas. There would be no cost involved, all the paperwork would be taken care of, and the escort would receive a tip of $50 for their service.
