I am cycling 680km across China in September for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Christina Hough and Alison Bates make up Blondes on Bikes, and they're pedaling across China for Macmillan Cancer Support.
I am doing this in memory of my father, John Richmond Hough, who worked for Aramco in Dhahran for 25 years before his death in 2001. I was brought up in Dhahran and was incredibly proud of the work my father did, including being at the forefront of introducing SAP to the company before he became ill in 1999.
Macmillan is a charity very close to my heart, as they provided wonderful care and support for my father in his last days.
I will be averaging 100km a day while I am in China, so a lot of training is going into the trip, but also a lot of fundraising. I am aiming to raise £10,000. As I'm sure you can appreciate, I welcome any assistance to reach my goal, whether it be a donation or a chance to promote the cause.
My fundraising page is Justgiving - Blondes on Bikes. I would be incredibly grateful for any help you can provide.
Kind regards,
Christina Hough
