Program Coordinator for the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations
Megan Geissler is the Program Coordinator at the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations. She facilitates a number of core programs at the National Council including the Model Arab League student leadership and student internship programs and also acts as a liaison to the Yemen College of Middle Eastern Studies.
Ms. Geissler anticipates that this trip will enable her to better serve the students who choose the Yemen Language Center to pursue their studies of Arabic and Middle Eastern culture. Megan has a BA from Smith College in Women’s Studies and Comparative Literature, and an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. She has lived in Morocco and Jordan, and has a particular interest in indigenous population issues and humanitarian aid and development.
