On a recent trip to Orlando, Florida the entire family went to see La Nouba, a fantastic acrobatic display of talent and creativity performed by Cirque Du Soleil.
The name of the show, La Nouba, originates from the French phrase "faire la nouba" meaning to party or to live it up and that's exactly what we did at this elaborate production featured at the Downtown Disney theater-big top.
Cirque Du Soleil is not your typical circus with traditional animals, lion tamers, and side shows. Instead, it uses acrobats, clowns and human performers who not only draw laughter, gasps, and resounding applause from the crowd, but who also concoct a fanciful story that beckons the imagination.
Amazing costume creations and set designs as well as exclusive live music are the backdrop to the storytelling acrobatics that will astound you and invade your senses.

Every aspect of the show is choreographed to perfection. Among the acts you will see flying trapeze and perfectly synchronized aerialists, cyclists performing difficult maneuvers, traditional circus aerial cradle, the "German Wheel", aerial ballet in silk, the diabolo, high wire, and trampoline.
La Nouba is a truly magical and festive experience that you won't want to miss.
