Cradled by the Tennessee River in downtown Chattanooga, the Tennessee Aquarium boasts the world’s largest freshwater aquarium.
The design of the building renders the perfect backdrop for its 9,000 inhabitants, 60-foot canyons, living forests and cascading waterfalls.

The current exhibit features, “Seahorses: Beyond Imagination.” These beautiful and delicate creatures dangle peacefully amidst the vegetation, hanging on gracefully by their tails, and range from tiny dwarf seahorses to whimsical sea dragons.

Several floors of wall to wall glass give you an up close view at schools of colorful fish in seemingly real habitats, and issue you from the hazy mist of the Delta Swamp to the Gulf of Mexico.
The Tennessee Aquarium is a visual experience that will simply delight you.
