I have just received the new Saudi Aramco World, probably one of the best produced as it concentrates on ARAMCO itself. I read the comment on Ali I Al-Naimi; when he first walked into Aramco's school.
What it does not say is how I found him to be when he was the head of Ras Tanura.
He was noted for his engineering belief in innovating methods that were needed and effective in accomplishments in Science, Engineering and Technology always to the benefit of ARAMCO.
His reputation at the plant was that of a dedicate leader with a firm but gentle way of working. Those at the plant, from the gate and back to the gate knew and were very respectful that they had a man at the top of RT who would get to the very top of the organisation.
He's done it and it is down to him and his determination to succeed....Great
