I will benefit from the Saudi Arabian trip for many different reasons. I teach 6th grade World Cultures and many of my students will never have the luxury of traveling the world. What they learn about other countries is what I share with them. The experiences from the trip will make me a better teacher as I share pictures, slides and artifacts from another country with my students.
I will be able to come back to my classroom with a greater understanding of the Saudi culture and appreciation for another way of life.
