Dulles Elementary is comprised of 655 students of varying cultures and has ninety-one students enrolled in the English as a Second Language program. My fourth grade class has nineteen students, with eight countries represented.
This trip, sponsored by Aramco, will help me gain a better understanding of the culture, the people and the educational practices of Saudi Arabia. Due to the diversity of my campus, and the diversity in the area in which I live, I feel that it is imperative that I educate myself about the uniqueness of other countries.
