Sourdough Starter

Al Hasa Cookbook - 1976

1 3/4 cup flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1 package instant yeast
2 1/2 cups water

Add ingredients to a bowl and beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Let stand 4 days at 78o to 80o.

To rebuild starter, add 1 1/2 cups warm water, 3/4 cup flour, 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar. Add to unused portion of the starter.
