Friends' Recipes
1 c scalded milk
1 c hot mashed potatoes (2 medium)
2/3 c butter or shortening
½ c sugar
2 t salt
2 beaten eggs
6-8 c flour
1 pkg yeast dissolved in ½ c water
Mix in kitchen aid – whip potatoes – add warm milk, etc.
Grease top of dough – cover and chill several hour or overnight.
Shape as desired. Let rise until double in size (1 hr.)
Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes.
