Pecan Pie II

Favorite Recipes, Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia, 1953

4 eggs
½ cup sugar
1 cup broken pecans
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ cups whit Karo syrup

Beat the eggs, adding first the sugar, then the syrup. Beat until thoroughly blended. Add salt, vanilla and pecans (or walnuts). Pour into baked pie shell and bake for 1 hour in a slow oven.
