Jinx is Smiling - He has a new home...
Jinx, a PAWS cat, has recently been homed through the help of Aramco ExPats website and an Aramco Pet Escort Volunteer.
Jinx and his brother Minx are now living a great life in Florida, USA through the combined efforts of all involved. This a great little success story of a group of volunteers who gave a little of their time and effort to achieve a happy home.

Curry Cook Off
In June 2006 the Udhailiyah chapter of SAEA hosted a wonderful event for the community to enjoy. Members of the South Asian community in Udhailiyah put together the first annual CURRY COOK OFF. The delicious curries of South Asia went from mild to firery. A wonderful evening was had by all who attended.

I am working in the Dhahran Health Center Hospital since May 29,1979 under Nursing Services Department as Timekeeper in Central Nursing Office. I have a family with 4 children (2 Girls and 2 boys). My eldest daughter (31yrs.old) is married and to be a mother this coming month of November 2006 and my 2nd elder son (27yrs.old ) is also married with one boy child. My 3rd son, in college, will hopefully graduate in computer science next year and my youngest daughter will be graduating from high school next year. My request for vacation next year is to be present on the graduation day of my youngest daughter.

Dhub
Late Saturday afternoon, June 24th, I noticed this Dhub crossing Uthmaniyah Street in Udhailiyah as I was riding my bicycle. I immediately stopped and pulled out my Canon IXUS55 compact digital camera. To get close to the Dhub, I set up the camera to digital zoom to photograph details of the desert creature.
