Abqaiq Tennis Party – April 1983
From right, Dwight Brixey, Mike & Cindy Greene (D.C. area now) and Mahala Brixey being dunked by one of three Killington, Vermont tennis pros teaching tennis in Aramco camps. Brandi Stevens is in foreground with Chris Stevens on the swing with a little girl(?).
The fort was more of the Aramco fun of "biggest do it yourself kit" in the world. The kids wanted a fort so I went to Reclamation to find materials prior to starting the drawing. I found a pallet with 13 doors, a damaged aluminum ladder and a lot of old 4 x 12’s and similar big timbers. I used all 13 doors and that was tough with two floors. I think the book value on doors was $350 each.
