Cushing Academy

Inventive. Imaginative. Independent. Industrious. Informed. Insightful. Inspired. Intelligent. International. Involved. Those are just a few of the “I” words that define Cushing Academy students.

Cushing is characterized by individuality as well as inclusiveness. It is a place that accepts each student’s unique strengths while also emphasizing the importance of unity.

Since its founding, in 1865, Cushing has been an affirming school community that strives to help students discover the full range of their talents and interests. Cushing offers a challenging academic curriculum and outstanding programs in arts and athletics. Equally important is the warm atmosphere of the campus, a welcoming place where students from all backgrounds come together to discover their potential.
