Leysin American School In Switzerland is an American International Co-Educational boarding school for university preparation. LAS offers a world class secondary school curriculum (grades 9-12) and a postgraduate program. LAS is proud to be an International Baccalaureate (IB) school and to offer the full IB diploma and individual certificates. LAS also offers a comprehensive English-as-a-Second-Language program for non-native English speakers. The LAS student body is made up of 350 students from over 50 countries and includes all major religions and cultures. Back on campus, students benefit from living in a Swiss Alpine resort. In the winter students receive free ski passes and lessons from the Swiss Ski School at the local resort (walking distance). On Tuesdays and Thursdays, classes end at noon and the entire student body goes skiing. Students can also take advantage of the countless activities and excursions offered by the school such as shopping trips, overnight ski trips, mountain climbing expeditions, and many others. In addition, LAS teams compete internationally in every major sport. The LAS campus consists of 12 buildings nestled in the Northwest corner of Leysin.
