About Us
The Perkiomen School is located in the Greater Philadelphia. Within walking distance of campus 50 shops, restaurants, banks, and salons are available for students. The Lehigh Valley is to the north (Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton), Philadelphia is 49 miles to our south, and New York City is only 104 miles east.
Perkiomen is convenient to some of the nation’s finest cultural and educational institutions, great shopping and entertainment, and beautiful countryside with skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and much more.
The 165-acre school campus features the original “old main” building Kriebel Hall, which was renovated in 1995. Kriebel houses three floors of boys’ dormitories, classrooms, computer lab, and offices.
The historic Carnegie Library is the heart of the academic program at Perkiomen and offers electronic and traditional collections dedicated to the needs of students at all grade levels. The Carnegie Library has a dedicated staff to assist students and also serves an academic department on the upper level.
Kehs Hall, the fine arts center, was originally constructed in 1905 and renovated in 1991. The theater, instrumental music rooms, practice rooms, and studio art spaces fill the building. The art studio includes a dark room, digital art computer Lab, ceramics room, and visual art studio.
In 2007, Perkiomen opened The Schumo Academic Center, which offers 4 double classroom science labs, a computer lab, and 18 classrooms including the Harkness Conference Room; all of the classrooms are equipped with Activboards.
Additionally, in 2007, the Allison Middle School Center was opened and includes the Nallo Media Center, dedicated music room, science lab, art studio, and classrooms.
