Boarding
Since the very foundation of the school in 1930, boarding students have been an integral component of the community of the School. When parents decide to send their children away from home for education, the choice of school is vital in providing an environment that is warm, welcoming, safe, and conducive to effective learning. Moving from one's own home and community to a new and unfamiliar environment can present unique and difficult challenges. At St. George's School, within Harker Hall Residences, we endeavor to make that transition as smooth, comfortable, and reassuring as we possibly can.

Boarding provides a warm and nurturing educational environment for the boys as they move through their adolescent years. They enjoy the company of their peers and treasure the friendships they develop – friendships that often last a lifetime. Currently our boarders come from the Greater Vancouver area, across North America and overseas. The diversity of their backgrounds enriches school life; the boys have the opportunity to develop friendships with students from around the world.
