Victoria Bennison and Edward Corts to be Married
Victoria Bennison and Edward Corts are to be married Friday, November 30, 2012 by the Dr. Joe McKeever, a Baptist Minister, at the Irish Cultural Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Ms. Bennison, 39, is a Conference Planning Manager at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, Texas. She is a graduate of Ursinus College with a B.A. in International Relations and East Asian Studies. She is the daughter of Larry L. Bennison and Patricia Rowan Bennison of Sarasota, Florida. The bride’s father, who is retired, was a Financial Manager for Caltex Petroleum with several overseas assignments and a final posting in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Corts, 39, is an associate at the law firm of Godwin Ronquillo, PC in Dallas, Texas, where he specializes in commercial litigation and tax controversy. He graduated from Baylor University, received his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law, and received an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Denver. Edward was a 1989 graduate of Dhahran Junior High.
He is the son of Frank E. Corts, Sr. and Judith Fisher Corts of Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico. The groom’s parents, who are both retired, were with the Saudi Aramco Drilling and Workover Department in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
Congratulations to Victoria and Edward,Lois and I send best wishes for a long and productive life together.It hardly seems possible that you are 39,Edward,as I recall it was only yesterday (or maybe the day before) that I was watching you play in a soccer game in Ras Tanura,and watching your dad fume on the sidelines as there was much more of interest to you than an old soccer game!!Best regards to your Mom and Dad,,would like to hear how life is in Ajijic,as Obamaville 2 may provide incentive to make changes.
Congratulaions Edward! We wish you and Victoria much happiness and joy in your future married years. You probably don’t remember us, but we knew you and your parents in Ras Tanura, Saudia Arabia in 1979 and 1980. Our son Christopher and you used to play together. We have tried several times to find your parents, so it would be great if you could pass this information on to them. Our address is 14512 NE 15th Street Vancouver, Washington.
