My good friend, Nestor Sander, 93 years young, is an expert geologist who retired from Aramco many years ago. Read about his pioneer days on Aramco ExPats.

'Sandy' has published numerous You Tube videos and has just posted his first chapter on Geology. Have a look. 

Our own esteemed Aramco annuitant Nestor John Sander has spent the last seven months producing videos about Invasion of Normandy and the WWII Cemeteries in Normandy. He published his latest video (11th) this week and sent me a link.

Nestor at 93 years young has written the wonderful book, Ibn Saud: King by Conquest, sold in the Aramco ExPats Suq. He also has written numerous articles about the early days in Saudi Arabia.

"Sandy" is one great, talented man who has had many accomplishments around the world.

My friend, Sue Koenig, sent me a link this morning to The Mansoojat Foundation website (http://www.mansoojat.org/). The foundation was formed by a group of Saudi women with an interest in traditional ethnic textiles and costumes of Arabia. Many Aramcons remember Sue; she was a teacher for Saudi Aramco Schools for many years. During those years, she traveled and collected many beautiful artifacts. After "retiring" to Colorado, she opened a museum of 1000's of these interesting and charming items from around the world that she has shared with many local school children.
