Drew Irving worked for the Fluor Corporation SERVORG group that provided Engineers and Construction Specialist directly to Aramco project engineers to be their eyes and ears on all the projects going on at that time throughout the Eastern Province. Of his time, he shares, "As such, we had certain privileges not given to other contractors, the main ones being we could use The Surf House, and had a close relationship with Aramco Engineers. My accommodation was at Fluor Camp in Rahimah and I was very happy with that, a good wide selection of food served three times a day at our table, pretty reliable AC in our private cabins with lots of hot water for the shower. Oh, and a very nice swimming pool!"

Drew shared a few photos from his time in Saudi Arabia, 1976 through 1978. He states, "Looking through these photos brings back fond memories of my time in Saudi Arabia, a very important and transformative time in my working life. I was happy there, or as happy as one can be when away from family for months at a time."
