Dhahran Theatre Group Cookbook, 1993

Ingredients:

1 Pkg. frozen shredded hash brown potatoes,
thawed (about 41/2 cups or 24 oz.)
1/3 Cup margarine, melted
1/2 Teaspoon Instant Beef Bouillon
1 Pkg. bulk sausage or Italian beef sausage
1/3 Cup onion, chopped
3 Eggs, beaten
1 Cup cottage cheese
4 slices Process American cheese, cut into pieces

Preheat oven to 400? F.

In a medium bowl, combine potatoes, margarine and bouillon. Spoon into a lightly greased 10 inch pie plate; press on bottom and up sides to rim in order to form a crust. Bake 25 minutes.

Reduce oven temperature to 350? F.

In a large skillet, cook sausage and onion; pour off fat. Stir in eggs, cottage cheese and cheese pieces. Pour into prepared crust. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until set.

Let stand 5 minutes.
