TAIF: Taif governorate has gained the lion’s share of the Kingdom’s domestic tourism volume, crowning it as the city of roses and the best Saudi summer city, due to its mild climate during summer and natural landscapes especially in the Al-Shifa and Al-Hada areas.

Taif is famous for its magnificent tourist attractions such as museums, parks, flea markets, fruits, roses and aromatic flower farms, as well as cultural attractions such as Souk Okaz, which has been improved by the National Authority for Tourism and National Heritage through the organization of the Souk Okaz Festival during the past few years.

It bears the name of one of the most ancient and most popular markets in the history of the Arabian Peninsula.

Taif is characterized by many famous sites such as Shubra Palace which is home to the Taif Regional Museum, which was the residence of King Abdul Aziz and used by King Faisal as the Presidency of the Council of Ministers during summer; it recently became one of the most important museums in the Kingdom.
