Charlotte A. Digilio

Charlotte A. Digilio, age 88, of Wrentham, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2021 in the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wrentham. Charlotte suffered the loss of her beloved husband of 57 years, Frank A. Digilio in December 2015.

Born in New York City on January 25, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Veronica (Demsky) Hawkins. In the late 1950s, Charlotte worked as a receptionist for Arabian American Oil Company in the New York office. She was a devoted homemaker to her three children. In her free time, Charlotte loved to paint and draw. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved her boating years. She cherished spending time with family and especially her grandchildren.

Charlotte was the loving mother to Thomas E. Digilio and wife Rhonda, of Cumberland, RI, Carolyn A. Taylor of Lowell, MA, and Louis A. Digilio and wife Donna, of Northboro, MA. She was the cherished grandmother to Amelia F. Digilio, Christopher J. Taylor, John W. Taylor, Sarah A. Taylor, Katie M. Taylor, Daniel N. Digilio, and Lyndsey R. Digilio. She was the sister of Sylvia Canavan of NY. Beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 12:30 PM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. A Celebration of Life to follow.
