Damon Lee Evans
Damon Lee Evans, age 85, died peacefully in his home Thursday, July 5, 2018 in Odessa, TX. Damon was born Sunday, March 5, 1933 to Herbert Lee Evans and Lillie Mae Childress. He went on to marry the love of his life, Martha Genell Slaten on August 12, 1950.
Damon was always so proud of his job at Transwestern Pipeline Aramco in Saudi Arabia and loved to brag about it every chance he got.
Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife: Martha Evans; daughters: Terry Bergeson, Pat Patterson and Tashya Camacho; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons: John and Richard Evans, and sister: Dorris Childress Weddler.
A celebration of Damon's life will be privately held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
