Edward G. (Shirley) Hoag
The company has been notified of the death of Mrs. Edward G. (Shirley) Hoag on February 19 in California. Mrs. Hoag had been in the U.S. under medical treatment since late last Fall.
A long-time resident of Dhahran, Mrs. Hoag first arrived in Saudi Arabia with her husband and young daughter in November 1956. The family had previously lived in The Hague, where Mr. Hoag spent four years with Aramco Overseas Company. His present position in Dhahran is systems designer with the Materials Control and Planning Department.
Mrs. Hoag's hometown was Tucson, Ariz., and she graduated from the University of California, also the alma mater of both her husband and now grown daughter, Carol, who resides in Berkeley. During her many years in Dhahran, Mrs. Hoag's activities were centered mainly on the Women's Exchange and the Recreation Library Committee.
