Floyd C. McGough
The company has received word of the death of former Aramcon Floyd C. McGough on April 5. Mr. McGough returned to the U. S. last November on medical retirement. Born in Canton, Ohio, Mr. McGough worked for Douglas Aircraft in Los Angeles and later, after service with the U.S. Army, with Hindustan Aircraft Ltd, in Bangalore, India. Just prior to joining Aramco in 1948 he operated a service station in California.
Most of his Aramco career was spent in Abqaiq, where he occupied such posts as senior stockman in the Abqaiq Storehouse, assistant superintendent of General Stores, and superintendent of Storing and Issue Yard. He transferred to Dhahran in 1965 as materials forecaster.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine, and four daughters, all of whom were born in Saudi Arabia. Patricia Ann is 16, Mary Katherine, 15, Lori Lynn, 11, and Kathleen, the youngest will be 5 next month. Contact address for the family is 14861 Bridgeport Road, Tustin, Calif. 92680.
