John E. Ladner
John E. Ladner, Sr., father of John E. Ladner, Jr., and of Renee Ladner, both of Dhahran, died here unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 6. He had arrived in Dhahran with his wife, Gertrude, the preceeding [sic] evening.
This was Mr. Ladner's second trip to Arabia. He had spent several weeks in Dhahran in late 1971 and early 1972 at which times he became acquainted with many members of the Aramco community.
Mr. Ladner is survived by his wife, Gertrude, and children, John, Jr., and Renee, as well as by his son, Michael R. Ladner, now of San Juan, Puerto Rico; and daughter, Mrs. A. H. Lowell, presently of Exton, Pa.
A requiem mass will be held at the Holy Rosary Church in Edmonds, Wash., on Saturday, Dec. 15. Mrs. Gertrude M. Ladner may be contacted at 903 Gary Road, Edmonds, Wash., 98020.
