John Wesley and Michael Cannedy
With Deep Regret we announce the death of John Wesley Cannedy on Tuesday, December 19, 1950 and Michael Cannedy on Friday, December 15, 1950.
To Mrs. Lucille Cannedy we extend our deepest sympathy on the passing of your husband and son. All employees offer their sincere condolences.
John Wesley Cannedy was born in Clovis, New Mexico on September 28, 1918. He first arrived in the Field on March 20, 1947, as Floorman for the Toolhouse; he departed on Long Vacation January 17, 1949. John returned to the Field as a Stockman for the Toolhouse on April 11, 1949, with his family.
Michael Cannedy was born on April 19, 1940.
Tribute to Michael:
We were all shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Michael Cannedy on December 15. Ever since his arrival in the Field on April 11, 1949, he made many friends and took a part in a number of community activities. He was well liked by all his school chums and grown-ups as well and will be greatly missed by all.
