Joseph John Mauss
Joseph John Mauss, Acting Coordinator G. O. Materials Supply and Traffic, died Monday night Jan. 5, in Dhahran.
Mr. Mauss first came to Saudi Arabia in 1952 on a two-year assignment with Griffenhagan and Associates, management consultants, to install a materials system.
In 1954, he joined Aramco and was made Senior Materials Standardization Analyst. A graduate of the University of Portland, he did graduate work in the Northwestern College of Law and at the University of Illinois. His wife, Frances, and son, Joseph Thomas Mauss II, joined him here in March, 1955. Joseph is now at Rumsey Hall School, Washington, Conn. Surviving Mr. Mauss are his widow and son. His funeral will be held in Dhahran Saturday, Jan. 10 at the Dhahran Theater.
