Mrs. R. F. (Elaine) McGrath
Memorial services were held for Mrs. R. F. (Elaine) McGrath on Monday morning, Oct. 27, at the Dhahran Theater. Mrs. McGrath died of a heart attack on Oct.r 22 at the Dhahran Health Center. Interment will be in Rochester, N.Y.
Mrs. McGrath is survived by her husband, Robert, and three daughters. Roberta, now Mrs. Thomas Murphy, resides in Rochester and is the mother of the three McGrath grandchildren; Peggie, 21, attends St. Louis University; and Noreen, 15, a July graduate of the Dhahran School, is now a student at Chateau Brillantmont, Lausanne, Switzerland.
Mrs. McGrath arrived in Saudi Arabia in August 1952 and soon became known for her warm, gracious hospitality. A member of the Women's Group and Beta Sigma Phi sorority, she was specially active for a number of years with the Girl Scout program and the R.C. Group. Working in her lovely flower garden was one of her favorite pastimes, and for many years she assumed responsibility for the floral decorations used at holidays and special occasions by the R.C.
