At Saint James, we invite our students to be involved, to be inspired and to be engaged. Students are able to explore-though academic, artistic and athletic pursuits-their interests and to develop their talents in a supportive and caring environment. Here, every student has the opportunity to be important and to make a contribution. We treat each other as essential parts of a community-a community in which everyone matters.
Students in grades 8-12 benefit from a challenging college preparatory curriculum, enhanced by a strong visual and performing arts program, competitive athletics and extra-curricular activities. Our faculty is dedicated to the development of mind, body and spirit.
The Mission of Saint James School is to prepare young men and women for academic success in college, and to challenge and inspire them to be leaders for good in the world. We seek to do this within a small and familial residential community, which values the moral and spiritual development of our students.
Applying to Saint James School is a simple, but thorough, process. We require all of the following to be completed for decision.
In the past five years, Saint James has received an average of 217 applications per year and has accepted an average of 110 applications per year. Successful applicants have outstanding character, academic drive and curiosity, and wide-ranging interests in athletics, fine arts and community service.
