Students in grades 8-12 benefit from a challenging college preparatory curriculum, enhanced by a strong visual and performing arts program, competitive athletics and extra-curricular activities. Our faculty is dedicated to the development of mind, body and spirit.

The Mission of Saint James School is to prepare young men and women for academic success in college, and to challenge and inspire them to be leaders for good in the world. We seek to do this within a small and familial residential community, which values the moral and spiritual development of our students.

Application Process

Applying to Saint James School is a simple, but thorough, process. We require all of the following to be completed for decision.

  1. Complete an Online Application
  2. Submit Three (3) Teacher Recommendations (online)
    • Math Teacher
    • English Teacher
    • Principal/Counselor/Advisor
  3. Submit Transcripts
    • Current Year's Transcript
    • Previous Year's Transcript
    • Students applying to grades 11 & 12, should submit all high school grades*
  4. Standardized Test Results (SSAT, PSAT, SAT, TOEFL)- Register for exam
  5. Interview/Campus Visit

In the past five years, Saint James has received an average of 217 applications per year and has accepted an average of 110 applications per year. Successful applicants have outstanding character, academic drive and curiosity, and wide-ranging interests in athletics, fine arts and community service.
