Bob Waters passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at age 86+ (he loved to add the extra year!). His daughter Susie and her husband Jerry were with him at the hospice in Las Vegas from Saturday night until he passed quietly and gently on Sunday evening.
He came down with the "cold/flu/virus" and seemed to be recovering but suffered a relapse. He went the way he wanted to go without being attached to tubes and such.
His wife, Joy, was with him and did everything to make sure all his needs were met. She took such good care of him and she will miss him very much.
There will be no service per his request. He will be cremated with remains placed at Veterans Cemetery at Boulder City. If you would like to make a donation on Bob's behalf, please select a Veteran's charity of your choosing.
