Bridget Jalene Biedermann
LA MARQUE - Bridget Jalene Biedermann, 36, of La Marque, Texas passed away in her sleep Saturday, May 2, 2009, at her residence. A 1990 graduate of La Marque High School, she had an adventurous love of travel and worked to facilitate organ donation.
Bridget was born December 1, 1972 in Austin, Texas. She grew up in La Marque and on an Aramco camp in Saudi Arabia. She earned a biology degree from the University of Houston in 2006 and was a member of Mensa. Bridget spent her career working in organ donation, most recently at Invitrogen Corp. She was a registered organ donor and encouraged others to do the same. Bridget loved to travel, working in Saudi Arabia and SCUBA diving in countries such as Thailand. She was a devoted mother to her 17 month old son, Chance.
Preceded in death by her mother, Connie Biedermann of La Marque, she is survived by her son Chance; siblings Scott, Eric, Troy, Alex and Amber; her father Allen Biedermann of Kuwait; and Muffee Beaton, a friend and nanny.
Visitation and rosary are at Carnes Funeral Home, 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, Texas on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 6-9pm. Funeral services are Thursday, May 7 at 3pm at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 10727 Hancock St., Houston, TX.
