Annuitant Carl C. Jackson who retired from Aramco in 1982 died at home in Payson, Arizona, March 5, 2005 after a long battle with cancer. Carl originally went to Dhahran as a teacher in 1956.  After two years he transferred to Community Services.  The last seven years in Saudi Arabia he worked in Ras Tanura supervising the construction camps that Aramco operated. He was with Aramco from 1956 to 1982.

He is survived by his wife Diane, daughters Lisa and Tina of Payson, daughter Jane Lehmann and a son Michael, and two grandsons of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania.  Diane lived in Saudi Arabia from 1969 until 1982 originally as an employee from England. Diane and Carl were married in 1974 and Diane continued working in Personnel in both Dhahran and Ras Tanura. Diane and Carl have two children.  Lisa, age 20, is a sophomore at Penn State University and Tina is a senior in high school going to Smith College in Massachusetts this fall. Carl has a daughter Jane and son Michael from an earlier marriage.
