Connie Biedermann
Connie Biedermann, mother of Troy, Eric, Scott, Bridget, Amber and Alex Biedermann, passed away unexpectedly this morning, August 23, 2008. She left us far too soon.
Connie lived in Dhahran and Ras Tanura between 1977 and 2004. She was actively involved in the Aramco community, managing the women's exchange in Dhahran for several years. Trained as a teacher, she tutored young Saudi women in Al Khobar and Dammam in her spare time. Many of them went on to graduate from college, the first in their family to do so. She stayed in contact with quite a few of them over the years.
Connie was one of the most selfless people I've ever met. She made enormous contributions to the lives of many. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who did more. If we all were a bit more like Connie, the world would be a much better place.
