David C. Ozment
Mr. David C. Ozment, a former Aramcon who for the past few months was acting in the capacity of consultant to the company, died in Dhahran on Jan. 3. He was 63.
Mr. Ozment's career with Aramco began in 1947 when he joined as a machinist in the Dhahran Maintenance Shops. During his tenure with the company, Mr. Ozment held various supervisory positions in both Dhahran and Ras Tanura. When he retired in 1969, he was machine shop foreman in the Dhahran Shops.
Mr. Ozment returned to Saudi Arabia last November as a consultant for the Northern Area Maintenance Shops going into service at Ju'aymah.
Surviving Mr. Ozment are his wife, Mrs. Ruthie Ozment, and a daughter, Linda Smith, both of Oregon. Mrs. Ozment can be contacted at 3690 Dodson Drive, Medford, Ore., 97501. [Photograph]
